Import PPPoker hands into PokerTracker 4
MobileHH saves the PPPoker hands you play on your Android phone as PokerStars-format hand histories, which PokerTracker 4 imports like any other PokerStars hands. Hold'em and 4 card Omaha work. No emulator or PC client.
PokerTracker 4 can't import 5 or 6 card Omaha from any source. It skips those hands with "5 Card Omaha hands are not supported". For PLO5 and PLO6, use Hand2Note or DriveHUD (why).
1. Set MobileHH to PokerStars text
During setup, MobileHH asks for a format: choose PokerStars text. Already set up? Change it in the app's Settings. Hands already saved are written again in the new format.
2. Get the folder onto your PC
MobileHH saves hand histories to a folder on your phone that you pick during setup. PokerTracker 4 needs that folder on your PC, so sync it:
- Syncthing (free): syncs the phone folder straight to a folder on your PC over your own network, with no cloud account. Install it on both, share the MobileHH folder from the phone, and accept it on the PC.
- Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive: their Android apps don't sync a folder on their own, so add a sync app such as FolderSync or Autosync to upload the MobileHH folder. The Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive desktop app then brings it to your PC.
Note the folder's location on your PC: that's the one you add to PokerTracker 4 next. A path with only English letters avoids import problems in some trackers.
3. Add the folder to PokerTracker 4
- Open Configure → Site & Import Options, then the Site Configuration tab.
- Choose PokerStars in the list on the left.
- Under Hand History Folders, click Add and choose the synced MobileHH folder.
- Start importing from the Play Poker tab with Get Hands While Playing.
If Move Processed Files To is on (the Preferences tab of the same window), PokerTracker moves imported files out of the folder. With a sync that works both ways, that removes them from the phone too. Nothing is lost: MobileHH keeps every hand, and Settings → Export all hands again writes them out once more.
4. Check it works
Play a Hold'em or 4 card Omaha hand in PPPoker with capture on. Once the folder syncs, it appears in PokerTracker 4. The table name starts with PPPoker.
Good to know
- PokerTracker lists the hands under PokerStars, because that's the format it reads. If you also play on PokerStars, make a separate database for PPPoker (Database → Database Management) so results and player stats don't mix.
- Tournaments import too, including progressive knockouts.
- Only hands you're dealt into are saved. Tables you only watch are never kept.
