The basics
What does MobileHH do?
It saves the PPPoker hands you play on your Android phone as hand-history files your tracker can import, so your mobile sessions end up in your tracker alongside the rest of your play.
Is MobileHH allowed by PPPoker?
No. PPPoker's Community Rules ban software that reads its traffic, which is how MobileHH works, and many clubs also ban trackers and VPNs. MobileHH isn't made or endorsed by PPPoker.
MobileHH runs as a local VPN on your phone and does nothing to hide that. We don't know whether PPPoker or a club can see that a VPN is on, and we can't promise anything about what they do: an account could be restricted or closed. It never changes PPPoker, plays for you or shows anything at the table. Read the terms and decide for yourself.
If PPPoker blocks tools like this, we won't try to get around it. We'll tell you, stop charging, and refund the unused part of your current paid period.
Is it safe to install an app that runs a VPN?
The VPN only covers PPPoker: Android routes PPPoker's traffic through it and nothing else, and it runs on your phone, not on a server. Your PPPoker login is discarded as soon as it's seen. Every version is signed with the same MobileHH key, and the download page shows the file's SHA-256 so you can check it. The privacy policy lists everything the app sends.
Android warns me about installing it.
MobileHH isn't on the Play Store, so Android asks you to allow installs from your browser, and Play Protect may say it doesn't recognise the developer or offer to scan the app. That's the normal warning for any app installed directly. Check the SHA-256 on the download page, then choose to install anyway. MobileHH is registered to a developer verified by Google, which Google now requires for installs in Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.
Which trackers does it work with?
Setup asks which tracker you use and picks the right format. You can change it in Settings.
- PokerTracker 4, Hold'em Manager 3 and Hand2Note: the PokerStars text format.
- DriveHUD: the DriveHUD format.
PokerTracker 4 and Hold'em Manager 3 don't support 5 or 6 card Omaha themselves, so they can't import those hands. For PLO5 and PLO6, use Hand2Note or DriveHUD. Hold'em and 4 card Omaha work in all four.
Files go to a folder you pick, which you can sync to your computer however you like.
Why does my tracker say the hands are from PokerStars?
PokerTracker 4, Hold'em Manager 3 and Hand2Note can't import PPPoker hand histories directly, so MobileHH writes them in PokerStars' format, which all three read. They then list the hands under PokerStars. Other PPPoker converters have the same limit. From app version 1.5.34, every table name starts with "PPPoker", so you can still tell them apart.
If you also play on PokerStars, import your PPPoker hands into a separate database (call it "PPPoker"). Otherwise your PPPoker results, player notes and stats mix with your PokerStars ones.
DriveHUD is different: in the DriveHUD format, it lists the hands under PPPoker, so they stay apart from any PokerStars hands without a separate database.
How do the hands get to my PC?
During setup you pick a folder on your phone. Sync it to your PC, then point your tracker's auto-import at the synced folder. Syncthing (free) syncs the phone folder straight to your PC. For Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive, add an app such as FolderSync or Autosync, since their Android apps don't sync a folder on their own. The tracker guides have the steps for each tracker.
Can my coach get my hands?
Yes. Share the synced folder with them, or share single hands from the app with the share button. The files are standard hand histories that any tracker reads.
Which games are supported?
Cash games of No-Limit Hold'em (pineapple tables too, exported as Hold'em with the two cards you kept) and Pot-Limit Omaha with 4, 5 or 6 cards, including bomb pots, double boards, straddles and run-it-twice. Tournament hands (MTTs, knockouts, sit and gos) are exported too, but your finishing place and prize aren't, so trackers won't show tournament ROI yet. Short deck (6+), Hi/Lo Omaha, open-face Chinese and dealer's choice tables aren't exported yet: their hands are kept on your phone and listed as "not exported yet".
Does it work on iPhone?
No, MobileHH is Android only.
Why aren't hands from tables I'm only watching saved?
MobileHH only keeps hands you're dealt into. Watching a table records nothing.
Capture
What happens if I switch away from PPPoker in the middle of a hand?
Often nothing: when you come back, PPPoker reconnects and sends the hand's current state, and if MobileHH didn't miss anything the hand is saved as normal.
If some actions were missed while you were away, MobileHH rebuilds them from that state, but only when there's exactly one way the hand could have gone. It can recover actions missed within one street, or from the end of one street into the next. It can't recover a gap that spans two or more changes of street (say you left on the flop and came back on the river), because it can no longer tell how much each player bet on each street. Rebuilt hands are exported and marked "rebuilt after a reconnect" in the app.
Hands it can't rebuild with certainty are kept on your phone but left out of your exports, so your tracker never gets a guessed hand. To be safe, switch away between hands rather than during one.
Why is a hand marked incomplete?
Something was missing, so it isn't exported. Usually you started capture or opened the table partway through the hand, the connection dropped before the result, or you were away from PPPoker long enough to miss part of the hand (see above).
Capture keeps stopping. What can I do?
Some phones close apps in the background to save battery. In Settings, tap Allow under "Keep MobileHH running". On Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei, Oppo, OnePlus, Vivo and some others there are extra steps; the app links to them for your phone. You can also turn on Always-on VPN for MobileHH in Android's VPN settings so capture survives a restart (leave "Block connections without VPN" off).
Can I use another VPN at the same time?
No. Android allows only one VPN at a time, and MobileHH captures through one. Turn the other VPN off while you play.
Does it work on mobile data and Wi-Fi?
Yes, including mobile networks that only use IPv6, such as Telstra and its resellers in Australia and T-Mobile in the US.
PPPoker won't connect while capture is on.
Open Settings and tap Send diagnostics, then email us. MobileHH also offers to send them itself if it sees PPPoker failing to reach its game server.
Privacy
What does MobileHH send off my phone?
License checks and update checks. Hands only if you report one or turn on sharing, and those have every player's name and ID replaced first. Diagnostics only when you tap Send diagnostics. The privacy policy has the details.
Billing
How much is it?
US$10 a month, after a 7-day free trial. One subscription covers up to 3 Android phones.
How do I cancel?
From your account page (Manage billing). You keep access until the period you've paid for ends.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 30 days of your first payment: email [email protected] and we'll refund it in full. If PPPoker ever blocks MobileHH for good, we stop charging and refund the unused part of your current paid period. See the terms for the rest.
