Import PPPoker hands into Hold'em Manager 3
MobileHH saves the PPPoker hands you play on your Android phone as PokerStars-format hand histories, which Hold'em Manager 3 imports as PokerStars hands. Hold'em and 4 card Omaha work. No emulator or PC client.
Hold'em Manager 3 can't import 5 or 6 card Omaha from any source. For PLO5 and PLO6, use Hand2Note or DriveHUD (why). We've tested the format more in PokerTracker 4, Hand2Note and DriveHUD than in HM3: if a hand doesn't import, report it from the app and we'll fix it.
1. Set MobileHH to PokerStars text
During setup, MobileHH asks for a format: choose PokerStars text. Already set up? Change it in the app's Settings. Hands already saved are written again in the new format.
2. Get the folder onto your PC
MobileHH saves hand histories to a folder on your phone that you pick during setup. Hold'em Manager 3 needs that folder on your PC, so sync it:
- Syncthing (free): syncs the phone folder straight to a folder on your PC over your own network, with no cloud account. Install it on both, share the MobileHH folder from the phone, and accept it on the PC.
- Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive: their Android apps don't sync a folder on their own, so add a sync app such as FolderSync or Autosync to upload the MobileHH folder. The Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive desktop app then brings it to your PC.
Note the folder's location on your PC: that's the one you add to Hold'em Manager 3 next. A path with only English letters avoids import problems in some trackers.
3. Add the folder to Hold'em Manager 3
- Open Tools → Site Settings and choose PokerStars.
- Add the synced MobileHH folder as a hand history folder, then save.
- Make sure auto import is running.
If HM3 is set to move or archive imported files, they leave the folder, and with a sync that works both ways, the phone. Nothing is lost: MobileHH keeps every hand, and Settings → Export all hands again writes them out once more.
4. Check it works
Play a Hold'em or 4 card Omaha hand in PPPoker with capture on. Once the folder syncs, it appears in HM3. The table name starts with PPPoker.
Good to know
- HM3 lists the hands under PokerStars, because that's the format it reads. If you also play on PokerStars, use a separate database for PPPoker so results and player stats don't mix.
- Only hands you're dealt into are saved. Tables you only watch are never kept.
